Today is Custodian Appreciation Day. This day serves to acknowledge the crucial and often physically demanding work of our custodians who keep our school clean, safe, and sanitary. A big thank you to Nikki, Daisy and Thomas for taking care of Parkway.
This Saturday is our Community Pop Up from 10:00am - 3:00pm - come out and support your community. We will have community services including free dental check ups, vendors selling items like jewelry, planters, labubu, hello kitty, sweet treats, and delicious food items. We will even have Haunted Lockers that you can tour. See you there!!
Attention 8th graders: The counseling office is looking for 2 responsible and organized 8th grade students to support as assistants during 4th period next quarter. This is a great opportunity to build leadership, organizational, and communication skills. If you are interested, please pick up an interest form from the counseling office starting tomorrow or find it in the 8th grade google classroom. Completed forms should be returned to the counseling office no later than Thursday, October 9th. Late forms will not be accepted.
Students, Please do not bring any type of food on the blacktop. Doing so will result in a lunch infraction and lunch clean up.
7th Graders: Turn in your Exploratorium Field Trip Permission Slips to Mr. Szeto in Room 28 ASAP. The forms are due by October 8th, next Wednesday. Any teachers with field trip forms, please pass those off to Mr. Szeto or drop them off into his box in the main office at your earliest convenience. Thank you
Attention all students, Spirit Week is coming…. What is Spirit Week? This is where you get to show your Panther Pride, your school spirit, and for one whole week each day has a specific theme that you can dress up for. Starting with Sports Day. Tomorrow is Sports Day, wear your favorite sports team top. It could be a sports jersey, a t-shirt or hoodie with your favorite sports team logo. Then on Monday, it is Pajama day. Tuesday Minion day. Wednesday Fandom day (no sports). Thursday College day. Friday Disney day (which includes Marvel and Star Wars)
Attention all students, there is absolutely no food/gum chewing allowed during class time. Eating or chewing gum during class will result in an infraction. Multiple infractions may result in after school detention in addition to lunch clean up. Make sure to check in with security during lunch if you have been assigned to lunch beautification.
CLUBS: Reminder: If you have or receive a lunch infraction or detention on the day of your club meeting, you are not allowed to participate in your club meeting that day.
ATTENTION FILIPINO CLUB: We will be meeting this Friday, October 3rd after school at 3:30 pm. Those who turned in their permission slips are already included in our new Google classroom. If you haven’t turned in yours, please give it to Ms. Agadang ASAP. See you all!
Volleyball Club: Don’t forget to turn in your volleyball permission slips to Mr. Szeto or Ms. Ng! We will have a meeting on Tuesday, October 7 after school to pick our club officers. You may only attend if you’ve turned in your permission slips!
