Trick or Treat, Parkway! Love makeup? Love Halloween? Then we want your skills! We are looking for a few talented people- students or adults– to do halloween makeup for students the morning of Halloween and afterschool. Makeup will be provided. Please see Mr. Allen or Ms. Schurk to sign up or for more details! Volunteers will get a treat!
7th Graders: These are the last few days to turn in your Exploratorium Field Trip. Make sure to turn them into Mr. Szeto before this Wednesday. Thank you!
Spirit week has kicked off - great seeing everyone in your pajamas, tomorrow is Minion day!! Hope to see a bunch of Minions all over campus tomorrow. Wednesday will be Fandom day (no sports). Thursday College day and Friday is Disney day (which includes Marvel and Star Wars).
This Thursday will be Parkway’s first College Fair. Visitors from local colleges will be on campus to talk to students about college and pass out swag. Make sure to stop by!
Attention all students, there is absolutely no food/gum chewing allowed during class time. Eating or chewing gum during class will result in an infraction. Multiple infractions may result in after school detention in addition to lunch clean up. Make sure to check in with security during lunch if you have been assigned to lunch beautification.
Also, Students should not be staying in front of the library or by Room 1 and 2 during lunch. You will be asked to leave. Lunch should be eaten at the designated tables or in the cafeteria.
You are not authorized to go to the I and J buildings, or classrooms 26-33 during lunch UNLESS you have a pass from the teacher you are meeting with.
CLUBS: Reminder: If you have or receive a lunch infraction or detention on the day of your club meeting, you are not allowed to participate in your club meeting that day.
Volleyball Club: Don’t forget to turn in your volleyball permission slips to Mr. Szeto or Ms. Ng! We will have a meeting on Tuesday, October 7 after school to pick our club officers. You may only attend if you’ve turned in your permission slips!
8th Grade Council: Next meeting Wednesday at lunch in the library!
If you would like to join the Greek Language Club, please pick up an application from Mr. E in room D-11.
If you are interested in joining the Polynesian Club pick up a permission slip in the Main Office.
